For a very innovative and already consolidated startup in the field of imaging software and devices development we are looking for an Embedded Linux C++ Engineer to assist in developing advanced industrial 360º camera systems. You can work from Prague or any remote location (preferrably CEE).
The team is around 10 people and located mostly in Prague. Our client is focused on building 3D scanning and 360º imaging solutions for street mapping, autonomous vehicle training, VFX, and other industrial and commercial applications. The company already counts among its customers the world’s largest, best-known names in their respective sectors.
The successful candidate could ideally have an interest in photography and a familiarity with imaging and video standards. Familiarity with LIDAR technology would be a plus but is not a must.
Some of the tasks you will be working on:
Specific functions related to photo / video capture (different frame rates, bit depth, scaling / cropping)
Bringup of IMU (Inertial measurement unit)
Expansion of GPS functionality (PPS, RTK, wheel ticks)
Expanding API of camera to be compatible with 3rd party standards
Advanced experience with C++ development on Linux
Some knowledge of video/image processing is a plus
Experience with Nvidia Jetson TX1/TX2, CUDA is a plus
Technologies commonly used in the projects:
C++ as the main programming language, Python for some support scripts
Protocol Buffers, Nanomsg, WebSockets
Git SCM, Scons
